Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our blog, resources, and farm consultation services.

We aim to publish practical farming guides and articles regularly. The frequency depends on the farming season and what topics farmers are asking us about most. Subscribe to our newsletter to receive new content directly on your phone or email as soon as it is published.

Yes — and we encourage it. WhatsApp us with your specific farming question or topic suggestion. We either answer directly on WhatsApp or, if it is a question many farmers face, write a full guide on it. Your question could help thousands of other farmers across Punjab.

Yes. Our content is written for both small-scale farmers (2–10 animals) and commercial farm operators (50+ animals). We clearly indicate the scale each guide is most applicable to within the article itself. Small farmers are actually our most important audience — most commercial farm resources in Pakistan ignore them.

Yes. We offer free downloadable feeding guides, farm checklists, vaccination calendars and nutrition charts in our Educational Resources section above. All downloads are free and require no registration. WhatsApp us if you need a specific resource we haven't made yet.

Yes. Every guide, article and recommendation on this blog is based on what we actually do on our own farm in Multan — not textbook theory or content written by someone who has never managed livestock in Punjab's climate. We test every practice on our own herd before writing about it.

Yes. WhatsApp us to request a free initial consultation. Our team can advise on feed selection and ration design, dairy herd management and productivity improvement, livestock purchasing, and nutrition planning for commercial operations. There is no obligation to purchase anything after a consultation.

The five most impactful factors are: (1) balanced daily nutrition — quality concentrate plus adequate roughage; (2) consistent access to clean, fresh water; (3) stress reduction — proper housing, shade and calm handling; (4) correct dry period management and mineral supplementation; (5) timely veterinary care and vaccination. Our blog has dedicated guides covering each of these in detail.

For commercial herds of 10+ animals, TMR (Total Mixed Ration) provides the most consistent, balanced nutrition and eliminates selective feeding. For smaller operations, a quality dairy concentrate like our Dairy Wanda — fed alongside good roughage — is the most practical and cost-effective approach. The right answer depends on your herd size, breed, and production goals. WhatsApp us for a specific recommendation.

Silage is made by harvesting forage crops at peak nutrition (around 30–35% dry matter for maize), chopping finely to 1–2 cm length, compacting tightly in layers to exclude as much air as possible, and sealing immediately with plastic sheeting. The fermentation process takes 3–6 weeks. Our full Silage Preparation Guide article covers every step with photos and common mistakes to avoid.

Organico Pakistan Farms sells vaccinated, documented dairy cows, Nili-Ravi buffaloes, fattening bulls and meat animals directly from our farm in Multan. Full health records — vaccination certificates, milk yield data, and weight certificates for fattening animals — are shared via WhatsApp before any commitment or farm visit. Contact us to see what animals are currently available.
